Background :
Prayatna was formed by Mr. Amitabh Bhushan and other like minded developmental workers to serve the unprivileged section of society and to create models of development to promote development of vulnerable communities.
Mr. Amitabh Bhushan completed his PG diploma in rural development in 1996. He has been associated with various developmental projects. According to him , “Knowledge, attitude and practice are basic requisites for development”.
